The Team Angelica family of creatives is dedicated to creating revolutionary entertainment with soul. Founded by Creative Director Rikki Beadle-Blair, our body of work includes: the feature films Kick Off and Bashment, which aired on Channel 4; the educational dramas Fit and Free, made in collaboration with Stonewall and distributed to every primary and secondary school in the UK; the short film Souljah, which won Best Film at the Rushes London Short Film Festival, and John R. Gordon's LAMBDA Literary Award-nominated novel on which it is based; the plays Familyman and Gutted, produced at Theatre Royal Startford East; Diriye Osman's Polari-prize winning poetry collection Fairytales for Lost Children; and the groundbreaking anthology Black and Gay in the UK. We also produce the annual Angelic Tales Festival of New Writing at Theatre Royal Stratford East and the Boom! 5-Minute Plays festival at Bush Theatre.
In addition to Rikki, key members include film producer Carleen Beadle, publishing head John R. Gordon, and music head Collin Clay Chace - alongside hundreds of actors, writers, musicians, and directors hailing from all social backgrounds and walks of life.
